A strategic UAE–France partnership
The Emirati strategy aims to develop a diversified, post-oil economy, with France’s long-standing support proving crucial to achieving this ambition.
In this perspective, the UAE is targeting significant growth in its non-oil trade with France, with the clear objective of reaching €20 billion by 2030.
Franco-Emirati relations, however, extend beyond the purely economic dimension. In the cultural and educational fields, they include landmark initiatives such as the Louvre Abu Dhabi, the France Muséums agency, and the establishment of campuses of leading French institutions including Sorbonne Abu Dhabi, École 42, INSEAD, and Skema.
